The hackers got away with over five hundred thousand in data sets that apparently contained credit card information of customers. After close investigation, Network Solutions found that that special coding was discovered that allowed hackers to tap into others web pages to get information.

It seems as though the codes have been active for over a three month period. Within the three months, hackers were able to tap into account at various times when there was less activity (usually in the night hours) and record credit card information. This process was done on a daily basis in the three month term.

With laws that are set in the United States, Network Solutions were forced to release this information to their customers. This in fact brought disturbing ciaos to customers that are registered with the web hosting company. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything that Network Solutions could do at this point in terms of refunds because it was an outside matter that took place. Customers were forced to deal with credit companies like Trans Union to give updates on the fraudulent activity. Business owners who have been hit by this nightmare are dissatisfied with the way Network Solutions have dealt with the matter. It has brought an unnecessary burden on business owners from operating their companies on all financial levels!

At this time, Network Solutions have made attempts to bring better security to their website that will require advance identity verification for consumers.
